Good Subscription, Lots of Software Included
Strengths: Covers nearly all the software that a developer could want or need within the Microsoft technology domain. Convenient online access to download the software. Early access to betas and RTM releases.
Weakness: Subscription customer service takes a while (typically 1-3 business days) to respond to renewals and other requests.
Overall I've been pretty satisfied with this MSDN subscription. This is my 5th year of renewal. I like having access to all the different Microsoft development tools, operating systems, documentation, etc. The initial buy-in price is a little steep, but the renewals are not too bad. The cost is easily justified if you use the software every day like I do.
