NEC MultiSync LCD1960NXI-BK 19" LCD Monitor
Strengths: Gorgeous color, text is sharp and easy to read, much smaller than the 20" CRT monitor that it replaces.
Weakness: None that I've seen.
As described in several magazine reviews, this LCD monitor is wonderful. Sharp, crisp text is easy on the eyes and the color is full and deep. No image ghosting and quick restart after sleep are also nice. I generally use the monitor for web and text work, not gaming, so I can't speak to how gamers may like it. The monitor is connected to a 1 GHz Macintosh PowerBook running OS 10.2.8 via the analog cable. I need to try it with a DVI cable to see what digital only looks like.
