1 Star ReviewDon't recommend
Strengths: start up cost is cheap
Weaknesses: Generic Toner can not be used
Summary: Start up cost is cheap, however the toner is very expensive which costs over $90 for only last for less than 3,000 pages.

The worst case is that you can not use the generic toner which normally cost half price as Xerox put a chip in their brand name toner so that the machine can recognize.

I strongly not recommend this product.

Sam

1 Star ReviewXerox Pe220
Strengths: Price
Weaknesses: NOT Mac compatible
Summary: Despite the blurb claiming the PE220 is Mac compatible it is NOT.

You can print from the Mac but scans are unsatisfactory.

They appear much smaller than the original and there is no way to bring them back to 100%.

Xerox techs. admitted the PE220 does not ship with Mac compatible drivers (only Twain drivers) and told me to buy Adobe Photoshop or Omnipage.

If I buy something then I expect it to do what it claims.

I'm returning my Xerox today.
