Items In MP3 Players You Might Be Interested InProduct Details of Apple iPod mini 4GB MP3 PlayerDescription Apple engineers squeezed all the best features of iPod into a case weighing just 3.6 ounces and smaller than any cell phone. iPod mini features an anodized aluminium case that resists stains and scratches. The case weighs practically nothing, but protects iPod mini in your pocket, purse or backpack. Recessed in the case to keep its surface pristine wherever you lay it, the 1.67 inch backlit screen displays full song names and more. Like its bigger brother, iPod mini gives you over 25 minutes of skip protection and lasts up to 8 hours on a single battery charge. So you won?t pay a penalty for miniaturization. In fact, all the features of iPod are still under your thumb. Always striving for perfection, Apple engineers moved the iPod?s buttons under the wheel. The iPod mini Click Wheel gives you the enhanced durability and sensitivity of the iPod Touch Wheel, with buttons underneath. The Click Wheel takes best advantage of miniscule space and lets you scroll single handedly though 1,000 songs from your iTunes music collection. You?ll find such thoughtful construction only from Apple. Because try as they might, the competition can?t touch this. Oh, one other minor detail, you can choose your iPod mini in one of five trend-setting colors: silver, gold, green, pink or blue. Apple iPod mini 4GB MP3 PlayerStrengths: Mechanically it is hard to imagine something built more sturdily. Like most Apple products, this is the sort of thing that can be used in textbooks on how to design consumer hardware. Weakness: It is designed for only one person to use it. If you load it with songs and someone else connects it to their computer, it wants to synchronize and will destroy the contents When it tries to synchronize with another instance of iTunes you have two choices: (1) do not synchronize or (2) lose all the music currently stored on the iPod. Also, iTunes would not allow me to store other things I was able to play on the iMac in iTunes (MP3 files located elsewhere on my house network). I don't know that it is impossible to get the songs loaded, but it is certainly not obvious...

Apple iPod mini 4GB MP3 PlayerStrengths: 1)The ease of browsing/organizing your music library, and that's what a portable mp3 player is for! 2)The design: strong built, high end sexy look :) Weakness: 1) Price 2) Battery life (for some) 3) Have to spend $50 for battery (if you replace it by yourself) or $100 to send it to Apple, and guess what: they will return it with a new/USED/REFURBISHED I've been doing some research on the ipod mini and the Creative Muvo 4gb after I placed an order on Amazon today for the ipod mini. I don't think I will regret it because: 1) I hate cheap stuff that sells for high price, especially the Creative Muvo.. it's more like a plastic cheap toy, and it won't come with carrying case anymore! Many people say it's good but thats short-run, probably quit...

Apple iPod mini 4GB MP3 PlayerStrengths: Size, features, sturdy construction, excellent readability for small size screen, excellent backlight brightness. Sound quality is excellent, very satisfying with better headphones. Weakness: Battery life as mentioned by others is much less than 8 hours, it loses its charge if not used over weekend. Headphone jack has lost the solid feel when connecting headphones. But still recommended. I have the 40gig third generation which is filled with my 600+ CD collection which I was using on a daily basis and for extended trips. I never ran out of songs to listen to when on vacation but was not really necessary for my daily commute. The mini now serves as my daily commute player. It holds more than enough songs for more than a week since I only listen when commuting. I always replace the...

Apple iPod mini 4GB MP3 PlayerStrengths: Size, Weight, and ease of use. Weakness: Battery life, Armband comfort. I have had the mini for about 6 months. Befor eit I had a 20Gb Ipod, when I made the swich to a smaller Ipod with less storage I was worried that i would move alot of songs around. This has not been the case and I have not regreted making the swich at all. The armband can get a little uncomfortable after a long run. thats about it. it's the BOMB!

Apple iPod mini 4GB MP3 PlayerStrengths: Perfect design with strong anodized-aluminum shell and 5 colors you can choose. The scroll-wheel is very easy to use. Weakness: No FM, also can't work as a voice recorder. Ordered one 2 months ago and finally got it after a long long time waiting. :) I'm very happy with it now. It's very beautiful and light (only 3.6OZ); The sound is clean and configurable; Excellent playlist features; Works as an external hard drive; USB2.0 + firewire interface; Also has some interesting games. Absolutely worth the money!

Apple iPod mini 4GB MP3 PlayerStrengths: Lightweight, compact mp3 player with great sound quality Weakness: holds 1000 songs, might not be enough for some people with large music collectoins Overall, the ipod mini is a fantastic product. The sound quality is amazing, and the interface is very easy to use. The integrated touch wheel and click buttons are a big improvement over the regular ipod interface (separate buttons and wheel). The ipod mini also comes with a belt clip, and firewire and USB cables. Considering these extras, its a great buy.

Apple iPod mini 4GB MP3 PlayerStrengths: Size, storage, durability, ease of use Weakness: price We researched and reviewed a lot of mp3 players and found the IPod Mini to meet all of our expectations. We downloaded ITunes software, purchased music and used it extensively before even purchasing the mini. We found the software extremely easy to use and purchasing songs is a snap. Much better than other software programs I have used. I would definately recommend the mini to other buyers.

Apple iPod mini 4GB MP3 PlayerStrengths: design, ease of use, build quality(resistant to scratches, etc.), Accessories. Weakness: price, capacity, supported formats, battery life(as it's battery isnt removable), The good design will charm you when you see it in others hand, but when you have it then the Real charming begins. the thing that i like most about ipods is their ease of use as you easily find the song you are seeking, changing the volume, etc. it's good for doing high impact sports like running as it has a 25 min anti-skipping and an armband. but it has it's own cons too. the capacity is really...

iPod mini
It's incredibly small and light, comes in five different colors, and has the lowest price of any product bearing the name iPod. Yet the iPod mini is a controversial product, mostly because it doesn't meet the expectations of people who wanted a truly low-cost iPod targeted at a mass market. But the iPod mini shouldn't be faulted for what it isn't. Instead, let's appreciate it for what it is -- an... Top

Apple iPod mini 4GB MP3 Player
Strengths: Amazing design and menu system.
Weakness: None.
Despite initial criticisms for its $249 price tag, Apple certainly got it right with the iPod mini. I've had a few flash MP3 players in the past, and I am stunned at what I have been missing. Now I can carry my entire music collection with me, it's a lot more enjoyable -- no more listening to the same 20 songs over and over and over. Battery life seems to be about 7-8 hours, and this thing...
