Powerful unit, can be made more powerful, for day to day, or more complicated stuff.
iPhoto has been greatly improved. Easy to group, manipulate, edit, improve photos.
Apple sales and tech support is outstanding.

Good Product

Strengths: very safe' as is out of the box' product

Weakness: still a few windows incompatibility issues.

I bought this little mac book 2 yrs. ago easy operating system and I have not installed any anti virus, it doesn't seem to need it ( that alone is a heavy weight relief ).

best laptop I ever used

Strengths: easy to use, virus free easy to self upgrade and very dependable

Weakness: it make you hate to use a pc

I converted from a pc after years of virus and tech problems and I will never go back. The snow leapard osx 6 operating system is a much better, user friendly system with lots of options. it allows you to control your computers preferences not the program your useing

MacBook Pro

Strengths: Speed, long battery life, virtually resistant to viruses, and ease of operation.

Weakness: Cannot download Skype extras (such as chess)

Until recently, I've always been a PC user. My conversion occurred last month when I payed $1K for a top of the line Dell with 4GB of DDR3 RAM and all the other bells and whistles. The salesman said it should perform like a Mac, since it had DDR3 RAM. The Dell would continuosly freeze-up and required re-booting.
